I opened the blinds this morning while the kids were eating breakfast and screamed, "It's snowing!!" We had to leave our food unfinished to play outside.
I can't believe it snowed. What the hee haw? If it snows in the DFW area then it's usually in February. It only lasted about 30minutes here and it melted as soon as it stopped but it was fun to see and Douglas had fun playing outside. 
On a side note, our house is completely Christmasfied. Travis put the tree up Thanksgiving and we had the house decorated the next day. I made this toilet paper roll advent calendar that I saw last year on a scrapping blog. Every day Douglas pulls out the red tissue and in it is a piece of paper with a scripture and and activity. For example we read a couple verses about the angel coming to Mary and telling her she would be with child and to name him Jesus and our activity was drinking hot chocolate and playing a math dice snowman game. So far he loves it.

Even your blog is all Christmasfied! Looks like the snow was fun. And the advent calendar is such a good idea.

What a fun advent calendar. Was it hard to come up with enough activities?
I know I've kind of disappeared from blogging for a while. Sorry. But I'm glad to know you guys are well, even if you are seeing less of Travis. And I really like that calendar idea and I might steal it for next year.
